Job Details:

• Night shift position on a PCU/Telemetry unit operating similar to a telemetry unit
• Shift schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratios: 1:5 during days and 1:6 during nights and weekends
• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday rotation for nights)
• Float requirement: May float within telemetry service line to meet facility needs
• No on-call required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy
• Free parking available
• Required skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, isolation precautions/PPE, non-invasive airway management, nasal cannula, peripheral line care/management
• Patient population: Adults with diagnoses including telemetry, telemetry stroke, and cardiac medication management
• Unit supported by unit secretary
• Block scheduling not available
