Job Details:

• Work day shifts in the Operating Room from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with shift start at 6:30 AM and daily huddle at 6:45 AM
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 8 operating rooms on unit with a team of 13 RNs and 10 scrub techs
• Day shift staffed with 8 RNs and 8 scrub techs
• Rotating on-call schedule based on current employees with 1 RN and 1 scrub tech on call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM weekdays
• Weekend coverage is on-call 24 hours Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• 45-minute response time required for on-call
• Perform and assist with general surgery, robotics, colorectal surgery, neuro spine, orthopedic, and urology procedures
• Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery skill set required
• Neuro spine experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years OR circulating experience at an acute care hospital required
• 5+ years of experience preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Required certification: BLS
• EMR system: Meditech ORM
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Artificial nails, dips, and gels are not permitted
• Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Float to other like areas as needed
