ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

Job Details:

• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Self-scheduling
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 24 orientation hours
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must be AHA or ARC)
• California RN license required
• Required skills include: BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and triage
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and unit secretary
• 11-bed unit with a daily census of 50-70 patients
