Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Monday through Friday
• Additional weekend shift option available Friday through Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• No on-call requirements for weeknights, weekends, or holidays
• Assigned to Sterile Processing unit with no floating outside of unit
• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required
• Perform decontamination, sterilization, assembly, and high-level disinfection (HLD) duties
• Common cases include trauma
• Work with equipment including Steris Sterilization, Vpro, and Medivator
• Charting completed in EPIC system
• Hospital scrubs provided
• Orientation during first week includes 1-2 preceptor shifts
• Must be within 60 miles radius; valid driver's license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), CBSPD, and Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) via HSPA
