Occupational Therapist Job in Lakeview, OR

Lake Health District is seeking a Occupational Therapist for a day shift position in Lakeview, Oregon. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 16, 2026, offering weekly compensation of $2,336.

Role Overview

You will evaluate, plan, and provide treatment for patients upon physician referral. Your work will focus on treating patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain and restore or maintain physical function. You will apply thorough knowledge of therapy procedures, current orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures, and rehabilitation practices to support patient recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide occupational therapy treatment using therapeutic modalities including exercise, massage, heat, cold, air, light, water, electricity, and sound
• Collaborate with family members and interdisciplinary health team members regarding patient abilities and goals
• Demonstrate positive attitude and maintain effective communication with patients and staff
• Utilize team skills including interaction, support, and respect in all workplace interactions
• Apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing electronic forms, and managing email communications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university
• Current valid Oregon license as an Occupational Therapist
• Current valid Oregon driver's license
• Current CPR certification
