Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, plus one additional 8-hour shift throughout the week
• Varied start times available including 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• No self-scheduling for travelers; block scheduling available if it meets unit needs
• One weeknight on-call rotation from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• One weekend 24-hour on-call shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM per month
• Holiday call rotation as needed
• On-call response time is 30 minutes; providers more than 30 minutes away while on call will be required to stay
• Float to outpatient surgery as needed
• 2-3 years of experience in the OR specialty required along with 2-3 previous travel assignments
• Ortho experience required
• Must have experience passing arms in and out for Robotics (DaVinci and Rosa)
• Must have experience with all specialties for evening and night shift; overnight RN will be the only RN with 2 techs and must be comfortable working independently
• Scrubbing is a plus but not required for RNs
• Scrubs are provided for RNs
• Facility operates 9 ORs, 1 procedure room, and 1 hybrid room handling 35-45 cases per day
• Common cases include general, ENT, eyes, ortho, robotics, neuro spine, vascular, trauma, and select pediatric cases
• All surgical cases covered except CVOR and L&D C-sections
• Orientation consists of 3 shifts over 1 week
• Charting system: Epic; must have Epic experience
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA); PALS preferred
