<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PT - Physical Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Partner with residents and care providers to deliver physical therapy services maximizing functional abilities and independence<br>• Perform evaluative and therapeutic procedures under physician orders while observing precautions and contraindications<br>• Evaluate residents per department protocols and establish therapeutic plans of care with functional goals<br>• Monitor and evaluate treatment effects, progressing treatment programs toward established functional goals<br>• Document all evaluative and therapeutic interactions in Electronic Medical Record per department procedures<br>• Recommend and obtain appropriate assistive devices with proper instruction for residents<br>• Provide education to residents and caregivers, documenting teaching results<br>• Work collaboratively with Physical Therapist Assistants and other therapy professionals<br>• Comply with Medicare and other reimbursement regulations and documentation requirements<br>• Provide in-service education to nursing and other departments<br>• Supervise assistant-level staff activities when appropriate<br>• Maintain department cleanliness and follow infection control procedures<br>• Bachelor's degree required, Master's or Doctorate preferred<br>• Active PT license in Massachusetts required<br>• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred<br>• Previous skilled nursing experience required<br>• Must lift up to 50 pounds and perform combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization provides comprehensive rehabilitation services within a skilled nursing environment, focusing on maximizing resident functional abilities and independence.
