Physical Therapist Job in Lawrence, MA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a skilled nursing facility in Lawrence, MA. This is a day shift position running 91 days, starting May 11, 2026, with weekly pay of $3,066.

Your Role

You will deliver physical therapy services to residents, partnering with care providers to maximize functional abilities and independence. You will perform evaluative and therapeutic procedures under physician orders, establish therapeutic plans of care with functional goals, and monitor treatment effects as residents progress toward established outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents per department protocols and document all interactions in the Electronic Medical Record
• Recommend and obtain appropriate assistive devices with proper instruction
• Provide education to residents and caregivers on therapeutic progress and techniques
• Work collaboratively with Physical Therapist Assistants and other therapy professionals
• Supervise assistant-level staff activities when appropriate
• Comply with Medicare and other reimbursement regulations and documentation requirements
• Provide in-service education to nursing and other departments
• Maintain department cleanliness and follow infection control procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred
• Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Previous skilled nursing experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching
