Physical Therapist Job in Worchester, MA

Tide Health Group – Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist for a long-term care setting in Worchester, MA. This is a temporary position working days, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, for a 91-day assignment beginning July 27, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,741.

Position Overview

You will screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs. You will develop and implement plans of care that follow regulatory and clinical practice standards, using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide your interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, assistive devices, and wound care
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting findings in the clinical record per regulatory requirements
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services based on patient response
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers regarding physical disorders
• Communicate with supervisors and health team members about patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
• Provide comprehensive discharge summaries meeting regulatory and clinical requirements
• Document all required information in the electronic system and maintain accurate patient records per company policy
• Record treatment minutes for services provided according to regulatory and clinical requirements
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students

Requirements

• Massachusetts state license required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience, or new graduates with Level II clinical experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• Adherence to APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics

Schedule

No on-call or weekend requirements. Days shift, Monday through Friday.
