ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Must have experience with management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patients, and triage
• Charting systems: Epic (required) and Pyxis
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice and possibly to sister campus
• No call requirements
• If one or two major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work them; if three major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work two
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
