Registered Nurse - ER @ Piedmont Augusta Hospital

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Work in general emergency department (non-trauma) with high acuity patients
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio in 59-bed ER averaging 165-175 patients per day
• Care for patients from neonates to geriatrics
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Work major holidays as specified in assignment period
• Rare floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• Must have Epic charting system experience (hard stop requirement)
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Spring Break blackout dates (April 4th-12th)
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Travel experience required
• Work in Stroke and STEMI certified facility
• Use Pyxis medication system
