Respiratory Therapist Job in Worcester, MA

St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for adult respiratory care. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 26, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to adult patients as ordered by physicians
• Perform diagnostic testing, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, hemodynamic monitoring, and special procedures
• Demonstrate expert proficiency in handling complex cases
• Teach and mentor clinical staff
• Maintain ABG equipment and assist with endoscopy procedures

Shift Details

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week (1900–0730). OR call rotation includes one first call and one second call per month (both 2300–0700), plus one weekend day every other month. Shift lengths in the OR may vary between 8, 10, or 12 hours based on department needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Weekly pay is $1,923. Dedicated scrubs matching staff colors are provided for travelers.

Qualifications

You must hold an Allied Health Professional credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Expertise with complex respiratory cases and the ability to work independently and mentor others are expected. Traveler eligibility requires residency at least 250 miles from the facility.
