Respiratory Therapist Job in North Adams, MA

North Adams Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a temporary assignment on the night shift. This is a 91-day contract beginning October 19, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Every other weekend schedule required, with holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,410.56

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience
• Active BLS (AHA) and NBRC National Board of Respiratory Care certifications required
• Valid Massachusetts RRT license required
• Skills checklist for Registered Respiratory Therapist completed within the past year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• CRTs will not be considered for this position

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Meditech Expanse experience

Key Information

• Eight hours of non-billable orientation required
• Must work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, or New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• All scheduling requests and requested time off must be submitted at time of profile upload; requests will not be approved after submission
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• Personal vehicle required for this assignment
• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
