Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday rotating, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Call requirement: approximately 2 eight-hour call shifts (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) per six-week schedule and 1 twenty-four-hour call shift on either a Saturday or Sunday per eight-week schedule
• No float requirement
• 13-week contracts accepted
• 36-hour minimum orientation (three days, not including Epic training)
• Scrubs provided in Ceil Blue
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate - hard stop requirement
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute operating room experience required (candidates out of acute OR setting more than 6 months will not be considered)
• Travel experience required
• Must have strong experience in at least 2 of the top four specialties: Neuro/Neuro Spine, Ortho/Ortho Spine, Vascular, or Robotics
• Additional specialties include Urology, Podiatry, Oncology GYN, and miscellaneous (General, ENT, Plastics)
• Daily census of approximately 45 cases across 17 operating rooms
• Patients include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Unit systems used: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR, Staff Meetings, Communication Board
• Required certification: BLS
• Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation
