Job Details:

• Work 5 days a week with shift hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• End times may vary depending on procedures
• Call requirements of 6-8 days per month
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required along with prior travel experience
• No local candidates will be accepted
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and anticipating patient care needs in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to provide patient care
• Ensure compliance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards, physician orders, and hospital policies and procedures
• Ensure proper supplies are available and cases are completed in a timely manner
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room
