Emergency Room RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a travel position running 91 days, with a start date of July 16, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Voluntary on-call availability
• Weekly pay: $2,090.88

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care appropriate to the age and developmental stage of patients served
• Ensure quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with unit standards
• Handle emergency and crisis situations with composure and clinical judgment
• Float to other units as needed during low census periods
• Communicate clearly in a manner appropriate to each patient's developmental level
• Perform physical tasks including prolonged standing, walking, positioning, pushing, and transferring patients or equipment
• Execute reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching as required

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• PALS Certification from the American Heart Association
• TNCC or ATCN certification

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI or equivalent certification

You will maintain current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served in the Emergency Department. This role demands the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment while managing multiple patients and priorities.
