Occupational Therapist Job in Ridgecrest, CA

You will deliver occupational therapy services across inpatient and skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings at Bella Sera in Ridgecrest, California. This is a 90-day travel assignment running Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a weekly pay of $3,212.

Role Overview

You will manage 7 to 8 patients per day, spending approximately 45 minutes with each patient. Your work spans two distinct environments: a Transitional Care Rehabilitation Unit (TCRU) functioning as a Med/Surg stepdown with 15 beds, and a skilled nursing facility with a maximum capacity of 90 staffed beds located in a separate building.

Patient Population and Responsibilities

You will work with long-term care patients requiring occupational therapy support. Common patient needs include medication management support, wound care coordination, and assistance with turning and repositioning. Your assessments and interventions will support functional recovery and maintain quality of life for this population.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience at a similar facility
• Skilled nursing facility inpatient experience is required
• For TCRU positions specifically: minimum of 2 years of experience
