Physical Therapist Job in Columbus, GA

Join our team at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA as a Physical Therapist. You'll deliver direct patient care across our facility, evaluating and treating individuals of all ages—from newborns to elderly patients—using medically prescribed physical therapy protocols.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's condition and goals
• Conduct physical therapy treatment programs designed to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
• Provide patient education on injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy, and rehabilitation techniques
• Design and implement fitness and wellness-oriented programs to help patients maintain mobility and active lifestyles
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides in performing assigned treatments

Requirements:

• Active Georgia PT license
• Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience
• Hospital experience preferred
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Position Details:

• Schedule: 5x8 days per week
• Weekly pay: $2,832
• Assignment duration: 119 weeks
• Start date: November 16, 2026
