ED Registered Nurse Job in Stockbridge, GA

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This is a 112-week travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026, working 3x12 hour night shifts at $1,792 weekly.

Role Overview

You will care for patients across all age groups—neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics—in a Level 3 trauma center in process, primary stroke center, and CHF/STEMI/chest pain center. You will manage a patient ratio of 4:1 and perform triage, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, care of ventilated patients, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed is expected.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers are accepted
• Georgia or Compact nursing license
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Telemetry competency exam required
• 12 orientation hours required

Preferred Certifications

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)

Assignment Details

• Every other weekend shift required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• Holiday work required based on major holidays falling within assignment period

Facility Resources

The facility provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams. Special equipment includes Arctic Sun and Glucommander.
