About this role

Join The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky as a Physical Therapist in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. This is a full-time travel position lasting 91 days, starting September 21, 2026. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, earning $2,448 per week.

You'll work in a fast-paced inpatient environment with medically complex patients across the lifespan—from neonates and infants through pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Your clinical expertise will address acute care needs with a focus on functional recovery and discharge planning.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
  • Acute care experience required
  • Valid Kentucky physical therapy license
  • BLS certification
  • Meditech charting system experience
  • Ability to reside outside a 65-mile radius from the facility
  • Availability within 30 minutes of the facility in case of emergency

Your Clinical Scope:

  • Acute care and adaptive equipment assessment
  • Amputee care and cardiac rehabilitation
  • CVA and spinal cord injury rehabilitation
  • Traumatic brain injury management
  • Hip fracture, total hip replacement, and lower extremity orthopedic care
  • Knee injuries and total knee replacement rehabilitation
  • Splinting and electrical stimulation modalities
  • Functional independence measure (FIM) assessments
  • Patient and family education
  • Pre-discharge planning and upper extremity rehabilitation

You'll work with a diverse patient population in an acute care setting where your clinical judgment and hands-on skills directly impact recovery outcomes.
