Med Surg RN Job in Baltimore, MD

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This is a 98-day contract beginning July 20, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work in a specialized High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) that serves adult and geriatric patients 18 years of age or older.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights (choice of 36 or 48 hour contract available)
• Weekly Pay: $1,995.84
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

Role Responsibilities

You will provide direct patient care in the HICU, which encompasses ventilator and pulmonary care as well as acute rehabilitation services. Your responsibilities include monitoring and treating patients with cardiac conditions, acute brain injuries, respiratory needs, and complex medical conditions. You will deliver 24/7 care including diagnostics, medical treatment, and rehabilitation services. You will support patients transitioning from acute care settings who require extended stays and multidisciplinary treatment plans. Float within the hospital as needed within your scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Demonstrated competency with ventilator management, tracheostomy care, central line care, complex wound care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, continuous IV sedation, chest tubes, PICC line management, and tube feedings

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous charge experience
• LTAC (long-term acute care) experience
• Trauma Level I facility experience
