OR RN Job in New Albany, OH

Join Mount Carmel New Albany as an Operating Room RN on a 90-day travel assignment. You will work day shift in a dynamic surgical environment, providing direct patient care and supporting surgical teams through pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.

Position Details

What to Know

Hours are not guaranteed and may be reduced based on operational need. As agency staff, you may be reassigned to an open shift later in the week if the unit is down-staffed. You may also be floated to another unit or care site within the Mount Carmel health system to maintain your contracted hours.

Your Role

As an OR RN, you will assist in preparing operating rooms, ensure sterile technique, monitor patient safety, manage surgical supplies and instrumentation, and respond to the needs of surgeons and surgical teams. You will document care thoroughly and maintain compliance with all facility policies and clinical standards.

Requirements

You must hold a current RN license valid in Ohio. Operating room experience is expected. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to schedule changes, and capable of functioning as part of a large multidisciplinary team.
