Med-Surg RN Job in Glenwood Springs, CO

Valley View Hospital is seeking an RN for our Acute Care Med-Surg unit in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. You will work 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule, including weekends.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care in our Med-Surg Observation Unit, using the nursing process to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses. The unit supports a growing census driven by increased orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute conditions. You may also provide intermediate care in our CCU as needed.

Shift and Schedule

This is a 3x12 night shift position with rotating weekends. You must agree to participate in call rotation, taking one call shift per two-week period in place of guaranteed hours that week if staffing needs require it.

Compensation and Duration

Weekly pay is $2,565. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 4, 2026.

Requirements

• Current RN License valid in Colorado
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar RN experience
• At least 3 years of Med-Surg RN experience preferred
• Permanent address at least 75 miles away from the facility
