Opportunity:

RN - Acute Med Surg Adult Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts including weekend rotation
• Must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period in place of guaranteed hours that week if requested due to staffing needs
• Provide the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients in an Acute Care/Med-Surg Observation Unit
• Use specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Support growing census driven by increased orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses
• Provide intermediate care in CCU as needed
• Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry or similar RN experience required
• At least 3 years of RN Med-Surg experience preferred
• Current RN License to work in Colorado required
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association required
• Current ACLS issued by the American Heart Association required
• Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility
