Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed adult surgical unit caring primarily for trauma and acute care surgical patients
• Care for patients with complex diagnoses including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic trauma injuries, hernia repairs, small bowel obstructions, appendectomies, and cholecystectomies
• RN patient ratios: 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights
• LNA to patient ratio: 1:12
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience required
• Experience on a fast-paced medical surgical unit required, preferably with Level I Trauma center experience; Level II Trauma center experience acceptable
• Required clinical experience: chest tubes, drips including Diltiazem, Heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone, lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients, trachs/laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, and central line care, maintenance, and blood draws
• Required credentials: NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required)
• Required certification: BLS
