Med Surg RN Float Pool Job in Lebanon, NH

Join D-H Medical Center as an RN in our Resource Float Pool, working nights across our Skilled Nursing, Sub-Acute, and Dementia Units. You'll provide direct patient care to long-term care residents while gaining exposure to multiple clinical environments.

Position Details

• Night shift: three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
• Assignment duration: 89 days
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,230
• Compact license required

Core Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents across multiple units
• Assess resident health problems and develop individualized nursing care plans
• Monitor resident progress and respond to changes in condition
• Complete Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments as required for long-term care compliance
• Apply memory care techniques and protocols in specialized dementia units
• Implement case management practices to coordinate resident care
• Document and communicate using the Point Click Care (PCC) electronic medical record system

Additional Support Areas

You'll provide nursing support in specialized departments including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Substance Use Disorder services, and pain management protocols.

Key Skills and Experience

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent task management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a medical office environment
• Familiarity with IV skills and IV medication administration (preferred)
• Experience with tube feedings and light wound care (preferred)
• Knowledge of long-term care nursing practices and resident-centered care
