CT Technologist Job in Orange Park, FL

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in the CT Department. You'll work Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, on a 3x12 night shift schedule. This 84-day assignment begins August 24, 2026, and offers a weekly pay of $1,971.

About the Role

You'll operate GE and Siemens CT equipment across three CT scanners in a department staffed with two technologists on overnight shifts. Your primary responsibilities include performing standard CT scans, supporting the ER department with efficient turnaround times for stroke and trauma cases, and maintaining high standards of patient-focused care using AIDET principles. You'll use Meditech and GE Centricity documentation systems and may float to the main department as needed. Call requirements are minimal.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification
• BLS certification
• Current Florida license
• Minimum 1 year CT technologist experience
• Hands-on GE equipment experience
• Trauma and stroke case experience

Preferred Skills

Advanced reconstruction experience such as Terra Recon or reformat capabilities on alternative platforms is preferred.

What to Know

This role does not involve invasive CT procedures. You'll work closely with the ER team to expedite patient care and meet the demands of a busy trauma and stroke center. HCA Division policy requires black scrubs.
