Telemetry RN Job in Fort Dodge, IA

You will work as a Registered Nurse on our Telemetry unit at UnityPoint-Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa. This is a temporary position with a 91-day assignment beginning October 19, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week on an every-third-weekend schedule with no on-call responsibilities. Guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week. Billable overtime is available between 36–40 hours weekly. Weekly pay is $2,313.

Your Role

You will work as a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. You are required to work 1–2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Orientation is scheduled every Monday.

Required Experience and Credentials

• Iowa state nursing license
• BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• 2 years of experience in Med-Surg, Telemetry, or Med/Tele required, OR first-time travelers accepted with at least 3 years of nursing experience
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, heparin drips, insulin drips, and some titration required
• EPIC EMR system experience required
• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
