ED Registered Nurse Job in Martinsville, IN

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at IU Health Morgan, a 17-bed facility in Martinsville, Indiana. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 3, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 12.5-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Friday through Sunday schedule
• 6 weekend shifts per contract
• Weekly pay: $2,173

Role Details

You'll care for patients across all age groups—neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics—presenting with conditions including cough/cold/flu, abdominal pain, injuries, chest pain, stroke, MI, cardiac arrests, and minor traumas. Patient ratios are 3 during night shifts. You'll work in a team-based model with 1 ED provider per shift and 1 APP on higher volume days, using an ESI triage approach to manage throughput.

• 1 year of nursing experience minimum
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood product administration
• Ventilated patient care
• Central line care and management
• Continuous IV sedation
• CVA management
• Arterial blood gas interpretation
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• IV vasopressors
• Orthopedic trauma care
• Phlebotomy
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• IV insertion and maintenance
• Triage

Additional Requirements

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• 100% required to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby

Patients requiring admission are transferred to inpatient facilities. You'll be part of a structured ED team managing mixed acuity cases in a community hospital setting.
