Cath Lab Technologist Job in Bakersfield, CA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Memorial Hospital - Bakersfield, a STEMI receiving facility with a high-volume cardiac catheterization program. This is a 112-day travel assignment starting August 3, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,819.

Schedule and Shift Details

• Friday through Sunday day shifts with every other weekend schedule
• Flexible shift length of 10 or 12 hours with open block scheduling
• Rotate inpatient and emergent call once per week on weeknights
• Weekend call rotation of 1 weekend per month running Friday evening through Monday morning (subject to change based on unit needs)
• First to float when staffing needs arise

Clinical Environment

You will work across 5 specialized suites: 2 for coronary cases, 1 for peripheral cases, 1 for vascular and neuro cases, and 1 for electrophysiology cases. The average caseload ranges from 10 to 22 cases per day. Cases are performed with 2 techs—one scrubs and one monitors hemodynamics. An RN handles conscious sedation, and a 4th team member (RN or tech) may be added depending on the case.

Requirements

• Current cath lab experience required
• Comfort with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, and airway management
• Proficiency with cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors, as well as balloon pumps
• Experience with cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention
• Current certifications: ARRT, BLS Certification, and Fluoroscopy
• RCIS or CCT certifications will not be accepted in lieu of required certifications
