Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule is 3x12s or 4x12s totaling 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required, specifically Friday and Saturday nights
• No on-call required
• Patient ratio is 1:5-6
• Float between Med-Surg/Telemetry units MS3 and MS4 at the same facility
• Provide Med-Surg/Telemetry care including feeding tubes, pre/post hemodialysis, and central/peripheral/PICC line management
• Perform phlebotomy/IV starts, heparin protocols, oxygen therapy, and isolation precautions
• Patients include adult and geriatric age groups
• Daily census of 30 patients
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience required
• PA RN license required; ASN accepted
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• One pre-approved RTO request permitted per contract; all time off must be submitted with the application
• Local candidates accepted with a local rate differential applied for those within 50 miles
