Telemetry RN Job in Philadelphia, PA

Temple University Hospital is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 90-day travel assignment. You will work as part of a float pool covering medical-surgical inpatient units, step-down units, and emergency department med-surg holds. This is a nights position: 3 shifts of 12 hours per week, every other weekend required.

Pay and Schedule

• Weekly pay: $2,400
• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Every other weekend schedule
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off during contract
• Agency staff not scheduled on holidays but must be available surrounding 1–2 holidays

Role Expectations

• Float across multiple inpatient medical-surgical units and adapt quickly to varying workflows
• Standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 on med-surg units; ratio may vary based on unit acuity and staffing
• Function independently with strong clinical judgment
• Maintain compliance with attendance, documentation standards, and medication safety protocols
• Demonstrate strong Epic proficiency

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience; new graduates not considered
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, TNCC
• Comfortable floating between units and managing multiple patient populations
