Telemetry RN Job in Philadelphia, PA

Join Temple University - Jeanes Campus as a Registered Nurse on our 20-bed Telemetry unit. You will care for post-operative patients recovering from orthopedic, gynecological, urological, and general surgeries in a structured environment with strong team support.

Your Role

• Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized care for 4 to 5 assigned patients under physician direction
• Monitor telemetry readings and respond to cardiac rhythm changes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care
• Direct nursing assistants in patient care delivery according to departmental standards and nursing practice guidelines
• Provide post-operative patient education and support during recovery

Staffing & Schedule

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage: one evening of Christmas or New Year's Eve, plus one full holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's) as unit needs dictate
• May float to other units based on staffing requirements
• Full census staffing includes 5 RNs and 2 nursing assistants per shift

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required
• Multi-State Compact RN License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in your specialty preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Compensation & Duration

This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,400.
