Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 4x10 shift schedule
• Work setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Low STEMI call required with on-call rotation every 3rd week
• Weekend coverage required when on call
• Patient ratio of 5 patients per day
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients across 3 rooms
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Charting system: EPIC
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience required
• South Carolina state license required prior to start (SCRQSA)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS/CCI (if RCIS, SCRQSA and SCBME required)
• Additional certifications accepted: ARRT CI, ARRT VI
• Required skills include: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, Cardiac Stent Placement, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Diagnostic Catheterizations, IABP Placement/Removal, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, Equipment Setup, Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias, Sterile Technique and Sterile Field Maintenance, Room Circulator, Impella Insertion, Temporary Pacemaker, TAVR, Angioplasty, Aortography, Embolization, Renal Angiography, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Carotid Angiography and Stenting, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Dialysis Graft Interventions, Endovascular Interventions, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, EVAR, and TEVAR
• Philips equipment experience required
• Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
