Cath Lab Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health – Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026. You will work day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, on a 5x8 schedule with 8–10 call shifts per month including weekend coverage. Weekly pay is $2,505.60.

Role Responsibilities

• Support procedures in 2 catheterization lab rooms
• Assist with pediatric and adult transplant procedures, including right and left heart biopsies, balloon procedures, stent placements, and valve replacements
• Support interventional radiology procedures, preferably pediatric cases
• Work with congenital heart patients and heart catheterization procedures
• Document procedures in the EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
• Current certifications: PALS, BLS, and ACLS (American Heart Association only); CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) acceptable
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions available)

Additional Information

• Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience and EP experience preferred
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule accommodations available at manager discretion
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Plan for approximately 4 hours of non-billable onboarding modules prior to start
