Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Clock in window: 6:38 PM to 6:46 PM (clocking in outside this window is considered late)
• Weekend requirement: Work either Monday-Thursday team or Friday-Sunday team with rotating hours
• Holiday rotation: Every other holiday rotation with permanent staff
• No call responsibilities
• Scrub color requirement: Ceil blue scrubs and ceil blue jacket only
• Complete 550 minutes of treatments per shift with average of 15 minutes per treatment
• Manage 13-15 patients per shift on average
• Work within strict 75-mile radius requirement
• RRT certification required with minimum 2 years critical care experience and 1 travel contract
• Must have experience in 300+ bed facility
• Required certifications: RRT, Georgia state license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (NRP if assigned to NICU)
• Must be comfortable with intubating patients as first line responder
• Must handle high and heavy workloads in critical care environment
• Perform all respiratory therapy duties including nebulizers, airway management, vapotherm, BiPAP, CPAP, ventilator management, ABG collection, bedside PFTs, CPT
• In ICU: place A-lines, manage blood gases, perform intubations and bronchoscopies
• Work with Servo vents (U and I models) and use Meditech EMR system
• Manage up to 4 airways per therapist in ICU assignments
• Treat adult and pediatric patients with conditions including COPD, CHF, pneumonia, respiratory failure, ARDS, and cancers
• Floor assignments require minimum 1 year experience; critical care requires minimum 2 years experience
• First week hospital and charting orientation; progressive treatment load during orientation (300, 400, then 550 minutes)
• ICU assignments include additional week of orientation
