Respiratory Therapist Job in Austell, GA

You will work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist on the night shift at Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 29, 2026, with weekly compensation of $2,072.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) required per schedule

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators, perform weaning, and interpret waveform graphics in critical care settings
• Administer aerosolized medication, oxygen therapy, and medical gas therapy
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
• Handle airway management including intubation, extubation, tracheostomy tube change and care
• Conduct patient assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team on care planning
• Deliver bronchial hygiene, volume expansion, and non-invasive respiratory interventions
• Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures, cardiac service procedures, and pulmonary diagnostic testing
• Provide patient and family education and mentor new employees and students

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC-RRT, and RCP certifications
• 0–2 years of clinical experience with a minimum of 6 months in critical care
• Critical care, emergency department, and pediatric experience required
• Strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and computer proficiency
