Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required with preference for weekend-only schedule
• Holiday shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uniform color: Gray
• Experience in Epic documentation required
• Adult critical care experience required
• Minimum 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months of critical care experience required
• Administer aerosolized medication, bronchial hygiene, volume expansion, oxygen, and medical gas therapy
• Perform ventilator management, weaning, waveform graphic interpretation, and airway management including intubation, extubation, and trach tube changes
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
• Assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures, cardiac service procedures, and pulmonary diagnostic testing
• Collaborate with healthcare team members in planning and delivering patient care in complex, multiple problem-patient situations
• Majority of time spent in critical care areas with protocol ventilator management and significant independent decision-making
• Educate patients, families, and mentor new employees and students
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC-RRT, RCP
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred
