CVOR Technologist Job in Portland, ME

We're seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic Operating Room team at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 10, 2026.

Position Overview

You'll work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with a 1:4 weekend rotation. This role includes one overnight trauma call per rotation, scheduled from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, plus specialty team call responsibilities for Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, and Ortho teams according to facility protocols. You're guaranteed 36 hours per week and will earn $2,803.20 weekly.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technician experience
• Current CST certification
• Level 1 trauma center experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative operating room environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in General Surgery, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, or Endovascular procedures is valued.

What You'll Be Working With

You'll support surgical teams using equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot systems. The facility uses Epic EMR. You'll maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and will receive teal scrubs provided by the hospital.
