About this role

You will work as a Surgical Technologist specializing in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) support at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

  • 4 twelve-hour day shifts per week (11:00 AM to 11:30 PM)
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • 1 in 4 weekend requirement on 12-hour shifts
  • One overnight call shift required (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) for trauma coverage
  • Specialty team call scheduled per team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)
  • Weekly pay: $2,690

Role Details

  • Support 26-bed Operating Room with 1:1 patient ratio
  • Work with equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot systems
  • Electronic medical record system: Epic
  • Hospital-issued teal scrubs provided

Requirements

  • Allied Health Professional credential with CST certification required
  • Minimum 2 years surgical tech experience; travel experience preferred
  • Level 1 trauma experience required
  • Preferred experience in General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular procedures
