About this role

You will work as a Surgical Technologist specializing in Cardiothoracic, Vascular, and general operating room support at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 30, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

  • 4x12 day shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Weekend rotation: 1 in 4 weekends on 12-hour shifts
  • One overnight trauma call per week: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Specialty team call as scheduled (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)
  • Weekly pay: $2,510

Requirements

  • Allied Health Professional credential
  • Minimum 3 years Level 1 trauma experience
  • CST certification required
  • Expertise in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures
  • Competency in DaVinci Xi Robotics, PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies
  • Comfort working with patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics

Preferred Experience

  • General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular procedures

Facility Details

  • 26-bed operating room with 1:1 patient ratio
  • Equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot
  • EMR: Epic
  • Teal scrubs provided

You will join a specialty-focused surgical team in a Level 1 trauma center. This role offers exposure to diverse surgical specialties and advanced robotic technology in a collaborative environment.
