CVOR Technologist Job in Portland, ME

You'll work as a Surgical Technologist in the Cardiothoracic Operating Room at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 6, 2026.

Role and Schedule

• CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST) position in the Operating Room
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 4 days per week (4x12 schedule)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 1:4 weekend rotation with 12-hour shifts
• One overnight call per rotation from 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM for Trauma call; specialty team call scheduled per team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)
• 1:1 patient ratio

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• CST certification required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Preferred experience in General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular procedures

Work Environment

• Equipment includes Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot systems
• Epic EMR system
• Teal scrubs issued by the hospital
• Fast-paced surgical setting with emphasis on flexibility, accountability, and teamwork

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,803.20.
