ICU RN Float Pool Job in Geneva, NY

Finger Lakes Health Geneva General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time float pool position. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule, with every other weekend and holiday rotation required. This is a 152-week assignment beginning October 5, 2026.

You will float across multiple units including ICU, Emergency Room, Med/Surg, and Med/Surg Telemetry. You must be cross-trained and comfortable moving between these clinical environments while maintaining high-quality patient care. On-call duties include 2 shifts per 4-week period.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current New York State RN license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care units
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (American Heart Association or RQI system)
• Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months
• CPI certification required within 90 days
• TNCC and Emergency Nurses Association certification recommended within 2 years
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records preferred

You will be based at Geneva General Hospital, 196 North St, Geneva, NY. Weekly pay is $2,445.30. This role is ideal for an RN seeking variety across multiple clinical settings while maintaining consistent night-shift hours.
