PCU Registered Nurse Job in Coos Bay, OR

Bay Area Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on nights. This is a 56-week travel assignment with a start date of September 15, 2026. You will work 3x12 night shifts at $2,203.20 per week.

Your Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to care for patients within the RN scope of practice
• Teach patients and significant others regarding their care and treatment
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care
• Participate in on-call and weekend schedules as determined by the facility

Requirements

• Valid Oregon nursing license (does not need to be active at time of submission but you must be willing to obtain)
• Minimum 24 months of current Intermediate/Progressive Care Unit experience
• Acute care hospital experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required (does not need to be active at submission but you must be willing to obtain)
• ACLS (AHA) certification required (does not need to be active at submission but you must be willing to obtain)
• PCU, IMCU, Telemetry, or Stepdown experience considered
• Resume and discipline-specific skills checklist required
