CT Technologist Job in Johns Island, SC

MUSC Health Emergency - Kiawah Partners Pavilion is seeking a CT Technologist to join their imaging team in Johns Island, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every third weekend required. There is no on-call requirement. You may float to similar units within your scope to meet facility needs. The primary patient population is adult with some pediatric cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT modalities
• Explain procedures to patients clearly and ensure competency in all procedures performed
• Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner
• Serve adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
• Handle patient cases including STEMI, stroke/CVA, cardiac, and trauma presentations
• Perform both inpatient and outpatient imaging procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of imaging experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Proven travel healthcare experience
• Current certifications: ARRT Radiography (R), ARRT Computed Tomography (C), SCRQSA, BLS, and ACLS
• Valid SC License
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Preferred Experience

Emergency and trauma imaging, pediatric exams, orthopedic procedures in both modalities, Siemens equipment operation, and PACS systems.

Facility Details

You will work with Siemens X-Ray and Siemens CT equipment. Wear teal blue top with black bottoms. Your radiation badge will be provided by the agency. The facility may call off one shift per two weeks. Parking for nights and weekends requires a one-time $20 parking pass payment.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,570.
