X-Ray Technician Job in Lancaster, OH

Fairfield Medical Center – River Valley Campus is seeking an X-Ray Technician for full-time day shifts. This is a 91-day travel position starting October 23, 2026, offering $2,335 weekly.

In this role, you will perform diagnostic radiologic examinations under the guidance of an Imaging Supervisor. You'll assist physicians with radiologic procedures and special procedures involving radiography, and prepare completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist. Quality control is essential—you'll analyze radiographic examinations and participate in quality assurance activities within the Imaging Department.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operate all radiographic equipment and facility-based computer systems
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction or per protocol
• Transport, move, and position patients safely and appropriately
• Maintain radiation safety standards at all times
• Perform appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver

You must hold an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school and be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Current state of Ohio licensure and annual CPR certification (or When Seconds Count certification) are required. Previous staff radiographer experience is preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills are essential. Working knowledge of computer programs is required. You'll work day shifts at a hospital facility in Lancaster, Ohio, and maintain the highest standards of patient care and imaging quality throughout your assignment.
