X-Ray Technician Job in Akron, OH

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a 91-day travel assignment in their Radiology and Cardiology departments. You will work 4x10 hour night shifts on an alternating weekly schedule: Monday through Thursday one week, then Tuesday through Friday the following week.

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 18 months of permanent, full-time experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Active Ohio state license (compact licenses accepted for assignments starting 1/1/23 and later)
• Current BLS certification
• One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty
• All required certifications active with no pending renewals

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) screening completed within 12 months of start date; must be updated annually
• Nicotine-free status required
• BCI/FBI fingerprints completed within 48 hours of signing your contract
• Badging and onsite fingerprints completed at the facility prior to your first day

During Orientation:

• You will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments
• You must achieve an acceptable score on both with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass

Compensation and Extension Options:

• Weekly pay: $2,275
• After your initial 91-day assignment, you may extend for up to 18 months
• A 6-month break is required after any 18-month extension period before returning to travel assignments

This is a direct-hire travel position with Cleveland Clinic Akron General. You will be integrated into their clinical team and expected to meet all facility standards and clinical protocols.
