Med Surg Neuro RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 6-month travel assignment in Med Surg Neuro. You will provide direct patient care on a fast-paced nursing unit, working nights to support the hospital's 24/7 operations.

Assignment Details

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3x12 nights per week
• Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (12.5-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required

Role Expectations

You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients on the Med Surg Neuro unit. You are expected to be flexible and willing to float to West Campus as unit needs require. Your clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team are essential to success in this role.

Requirements

Current RN licensure in Iowa is required. Travel nurses should be prepared for an assignment in a busy medical-surgical neuro environment and comfortable adapting to the hospital's workflows and protocols.
