CT Technologist Job in Austell, GA

Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a day shift position in Austell, Georgia. You will work Monday through Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, performing a full range of CT imaging procedures with independent judgment and initiative.

Your responsibilities include:

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history prior to each procedure
• Perform CT imaging procedures and administer contrast media following established protocols
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, including power injection systems and department workstations
• Ensure proper patient identification using two unique identifiers before any procedure
• Review CT images for clinical acceptability before releasing patients
• Send completed studies to PACS immediately after completion and complete all studies in RIS before PACS submission
• Position and assist patients on and off the procedure table
• Apply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices as needed
• Transport patients and respond to emergency situations
• Maintain life support equipment and crash cart supplies
• Maintain Joint Commission standards and applicable regulatory requirements
• Take call when necessary and remain flexible with work hours to meet department needs

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum one year of experience in Radiology; less than one year of CT experience preferred
• ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) certification
• ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification
• BLS certification (AHA, ARC-BLS, or BLS-I) upon hire
• Competency in all aspects of CT including patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,368.
