CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Thursday schedule
• Block scheduling type
• Must be comfortable starting peripheral IVs (hard stop requirement)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT CT (ARRT R not accepted)
• No call required
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule requests can be made post-offer or on-site
• Holiday work expectation: if one or two major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work two
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Patients served include adults and geriatrics
• Daily census of 240 with 5 CT rooms
• 40 orientation hours required
• Key skills include: CT abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, myelography, contrast media preparation and administration, PACS, Siemens equipment, emergency department, ICU, and Level I and II trauma
