Job Details:

• Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts
• No call required
• 1:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• 40 orientation hours required
• Specialize in Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics/Trauma surgical cases
• Craniotomy and burr hole experience required - hard stop
• Perform and assist with procedures including amputations, anterior cervical fusion, ACL reconstruction, appendectomy, arthroscopy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, craniotomy, hernia repair, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, mastectomy, open and closed reduction of fractures, spinal fusion, and total joint replacement
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
• Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• 2 years of experience in OR service line required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Altera/Allscripts charting system experience preferred, not required
• Required certifications: BLS; preferred certifications include ACLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Texas nursing license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
